Levengi brings the warmth and flavor of Azerbaijani cooking to Dubai.
The roots
Levengi is a dish from Azerbaijan's south, where the Caspian meets the Talysh mountains. It is walnut and onion and sour plum, pressed into a chicken or a fish, and roasted until the whole house smells of it. It is what families cook when someone comes home.
Why Dubai
Dubai is a city of people far from home. We wanted to cook the food that reminds Azerbaijanis of theirs — and to introduce it to everyone else, properly, without shortcuts.
Where we are now
The Levengi restaurant is open in Dubai. We cook there every day and deliver across the city. Next is a mobile app that makes ordering feel as familiar as this website.
